Awards for Knightley and Son: Spring 2014 Kids IndieNext Pick, ABA Indies Introduce Pick, Kirkus Reviews Best Children's Books of 2014
The once highly in-demand detective Alan Knightley has just woken up after an unexplained incident kept him asleep for four years. While he was out cold, his son, Darkus, took it upon himself to read of all his dad's old cases, and he's learned a lot about the art of detection. It's a good thing too -- because suddenly the duo find themselves caught up in a crazy conspiracy that involves a group of villainous masterminds (who keep appearing and then vanishing), some high-speed car chases (that will have everyone fastening their seat belts), and a national, bestselling book with the power to make people do terrible, terrible things. But because Alan is still suffering the effects of his coma, he tends to, well, fall asleep at the worst possible moments, Meaning that young Darkus might just have to solve this mystery . . . by himself.

This book was amazing! I loved reading every word of it. This is one of the best mystery books I have read in quite a while.
I extremely liked this book. It was suspenseful and had me interested at the end of the book. It is a really fun and addicting book.
I really want to read this book because i have heard it is interesting! Its about a boy named darkus nightly. I cat wait to read it! I hope it is a good read through!
I really really liked this book. It was suspenseful and had me interested. I was happy to finish this book straight with no stops. Darkus started looking up at his father's cases and been solving them, ever since his father was in a coma for four years. Strangely enough one day, out of the blue, Alan, the father of Darkus, woke up and there was a crime happening. When Alan's hard drive got stolen, things need to be turned to Darkus, since Darkus know all the case and files. But things get a little dangerous when everything starts to match up and makes sense... DUN DUN DUNNNNN...
This looks like a very cool book! I really like books that have mysteries in them. I cant wait to read it! It looks like a great summer read!
I loved the idea of KNIGHTLEY & SON, father and son detective tackling strange cases, including the current one, involving a bestselling self-help book. (It's clearly modeled after THE SECRET, but it is somewhat more sinister.)
This is a really good and scary book. I recommend it maybe to 4th rade a nd up. It combines action with lots of adventure.
i wish i won a book
