Josie grew up with her mother and grandmother she's never known her father he left her at a young age. The book reaching for sun Won the “Schneider family book award” it is a very powerful story.One of the conflicts is with Josie, she gets mad at herself for having cerebral palsy, she feels alone until a boy named Jordan moves into a house nearby and everything changes. Another conflict is with other kids at school they act like she doesn't exist. The setting of this book is josie’s neighborhood and at her school. As soon as Jordan comes into her life she doesn't just have more confidence but, she has a best friend. Do Josie and Jordan become more than friends? Find out by reading Reaching For Sun. This book Is a great story with a powerful message I strongly recommend it for anyone that likes a quick and easy read.
