In this mischievous and utterly original debut, Hansel and Gretel walk out of their own story and into eight other classic Grimm-inspired tales. As readers follow the siblings through a forest brimming with menacing foes, they learn the true story behind (and beyond) the bread crumbs, edible houses, and outwitted witches.

Fairy tales have never been more irreverent or subversive as Hansel and Gretel learn to take charge of their destinies and become the clever architects of their own happily ever after.

I agree! I thought this book was sick and twisted and hard to put down!

I recommend this book to the following types of people: Quiet People who want an exciting book to read, Loud People who like disgusting stuff, or just People who want to read a good book. I think I was probably a mix between all of them. Tell me what type you are and reply to my comment!

This book is amazing, but of course, dark and grimm. However, if you are one of those many people who crave creepy tales, this is the book for you!

This is a very good book (if you like scary books). You will find yourself on the edge of your seat. The book is an "exciting" version of Hansel and Gretel. In the middle Gretel cuts off her finger. But in the end everyone ends up fine...almost. To find out the end you have to read it first.

This book is a very great read if you like scary books. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. In the middle of the book there is some sadness when someone cuts off their finger. But in the end it gets very exciting and everything ends out fine...almost.

Everyone should read this book!
