Obviously, another great read from Judy Blume. It didn't appeal to me much since I'm a preteen, but younger audiences would appreciate Freckle Juice. I read this "stand-alone" in about 10 minutes and it was a good break from reading long, long, long books. It wasn't what I expected since Judy Blume mostly writes about puberty and stuff, but it was an overall great book.

One day after school, Andrew screws up enough courage to ask Nicky where he got his freckles. And, as luck would have it, who should overhear him but giggling, teasing Sharon (who makes frog faces at everybody!)
Sharon offers Andrew her secret freckle juice recipe -- for fifty cents.
That's a lot of money to Andrew -- five whole weeks allowance! He spends a sleepless night, torn between his desire for freckles and his reluctance to part with such a substantial sum of money. Finally, the freckles win, and Andrew decides to accept Sharon's offer.
After school, Andrew rushes home (with the recipe tucked into his shoe for safekeeping). He carefully begins to mix the strange combination of ingredients -- and immediately runs into some unforeseen problems.
How Andrew finally manages to achieve a temporary set of freckles -- and then isn't sure he really wants them -- makes a warm and hilarious story.

Freckle Juice was about a boy named Andrew and he wanted freckles like Nicky. Nicky had lots of freckles. Sharon had a recipe for freckles but it cost 50 cents. Andrew went home fast to make the freckle recipe. He drank lots so he would get lots of freckles, it worked. When he went to school his teacher, Mrs.Kelly ask how he got the freckles. He her and then she gave him one that would take them away. I loved this book, just like all the Judy Blume books.
can you tell me a little more pleas?
Freckle juice made me lol. It's a story about a boy who wants feckles and a girl tells him the ingredients to make them. But she charged him $.50. He got the ingredients and followed the recipe and rank it. Nasty stuff! To make things worse it didn't work. He got mad, but later realized that he didn't need freckles. Funny stuff!
Not the best book out there, but it is a good use of 30 minutes, which is the time it took me to read it ( if not less ).
Because this book is so short, it's easy to finish in one day and just enjoy over and over. I think this story is hilarious and I definitely recommend It to young kids or anyone who needs a good laugh!

This is about a boy named Andrew who has no freckles and envies his other classmates that do. When he asks a student how to get freckles she tells him of a certain concoction that will make him get freckles. She sells it to him for 50 cents. It only makes him sick.
