Who cut off Medusa's head? Who was raised by a she-bear? Who tamed Pegasus? It takes a demigod to know, and Percy Jackson can fill you in on the all the daring deeds of Perseus, Atalanta, Bellerophon, and the rest of the major Greek heroes. Told in the funny, irreverent style readers have come to expect from Percy,
(I've had some bad experiences in my time, but the heroes I'm going to tell you about were the original old school hard luck cases. They boldly screwed up where no one had screwed up before. . .) and enhanced with vibrant artwork by Caldecott Honoree John Rocco, this story collection will become the new must-have classic for Rick Riordan's legions of devoted fans--and for anyone who needs a hero.

So get your flaming spear. Put on your lion skin cape. Polish your shield and make sure you've got arrows in your quiver. We're going back about four thousand years to decapitate monsters, save some kingdoms, shoot a few gods in the butt, raid the Underworld, and steal loot from evil people.

Then, for dessert, we'll die painful tragic deaths.

Ready? Sweet. Let's do this.

The book is about Greek gods

Totally became a fan of this series and the author!!!!!

I liked this book because instead of a dull, straightforward and typical book on Greek mythology, thanks to Percy's P.O.V., this book was pretty much the opposite. I liked how the details in the book were described in modern times, so it was easier to understand and funnier to read. Like how instead of an author trying to describe the story from a person's point of view who was from that time, it was described from Percy, a present-day kid. This book put an accurate spin on 12 famous Greek myths. I would recommend this book for people who like the Percy Jackson & HoO series, and Greek mythology.

Do you think you know a lot about Greek myths? Do you know who Hercules was, or how Jason got the golden fleece? If not, then you could read this book! It includes12 heroes from greek mythology, as well as their stories. It includes heroes like Cyrene, Ottera, and Bellerophon as well as Thesus, Atalanta, and Perseus, as well as many more. I liked this book because it was exciting and funny, as well as pretty accurate.

I like this book and it is entertaining. It talks about Percy Jackson who is writing a book so he can have his pizza and jellybeans back. The book has a good sense of humor and I think the book should be for 8 and up. It is great!!❤️😀

This book is about Greek Heroes and each chapter tells a different Hero. The book is funny, and describes the Heroes in modern days. Some characters might not be a true hero (because they did a bad thing), but a God/Goddess fell in love with them and they were made immortal. My favourite chapter was Psyce and the Box of Beauty Cream. It is a love story between Eros and Psyce. If you like this book, you will like the Percy Jackson Series.
