is about to get
a makeover....
Even if Megan would rather be at the mall, Cassidy is late for hockey practice, Emma's already read every book in existence, and Jess is missing her mother too much to care, the new book club is scheduled to meet every month.
But what begins as a mom-imposed ritual of reading Little Women soon helps four unlikely friends navigate the drama of middle school. From stolen journals, to secret crushes, to a fashion-fiasco first dance, the girls are up to their Wellie boots in drama. They can't help but wonder: What would Jo March do?
Acclaimed author Heather Vogel Frederick will delight daughters of all ages in a novel about the fabulousness of fiction, family, and friendship.

I really liked this book! I love how it is about girls and their moms! It was very fun to read! It was heartwarming and fun at the same time! Loved it!
Emma, Megan, Jess, and Cassidy's mothers all force them to be part of the Mother-Daughter-Book-Club. Even though they all hate the idea at first, they soon realize that Little Women applies their own lives. While reading their book, they learn about themselves and they learn that even enemies can become friends. They learn to follow their dreams and be who they are.
I love this book it is super funny and sweet. "The Mother - Daughter Book Club" is about an unlikely friendship of four girls. These girls only come together for what the girls think is a lame mother - daughter book club reading lame "Little Women". They go through the ups and downs of middle school and build a bond that could never be broken. And every time an obstacle comes their way they can't help but ask "What would Jo March do?". A wonderful read.
Awesome. I love this book. I don't like drama that much, but this book was too good. 4/5. I won't recommend it, but you can! Read if you must.
Even they'd rather do something else the girls meet every time for the book club. The girls find easier ways to deal with life by using books as tools to making decisions. I liked this book and it really helped me understand the different ways to deal with stuff, ask questions, figure things out with the help of the characters.
The Mother Daughter Book Club revolves around four girls, Megan, Cassidy, Emma, and Jess, whose mother's decide that they should get together and start a book club as the girl's enter middle school. The four girls are all very different, with different hobbies, but the club allows them to bond, in a way that they never thought would be possible. The four unlikely friends go through their drama, together, and form the strongest bond of friendship over books. The book was very entertaining and has made me buy the rest of the series so I could savor and relive each moment like it was my first time reading the book.
Megan, Cassidy, Emma, and Jess form a book club, even though there's a lot of stuff they'd rather do. But as time goes by, they start using the books they've read to help them make decisions. And in the end, everything turns out alright. This was a funny drama that was hard to put down and easy to pick up. It's an amazing book, through and through.
