It's the start of the school year, and nothing feels right to Justin. He didn't get the teacher he wanted, he's not in the same class as his best friend, and his little sister, Elizabeth, is starting kindergarten at his school. Elizabeth doesn't seem nervous at all. Justin is very nervous about third grade. And to top it off, he's lost his favorite stuffed animal, but he can't tell anyone, because technically he's too old to still have stuffed animals. Right?
Here is third grade in all its complicated glory―the friendships, the fears, and the advanced math. Acclaimed author Rachel Vail captures third grade with a perfect pitch, and Matthew Cordell's line art is both humorous and touching. As Justin bravely tries to step out of his shell, he will step into readers' hearts.
Justin Case is a 2011 Bank Street - Best Children's Book of the Year.

This book is a very funny story about a boy named Justin who is afraid to start the third grade while his sister, in kindergarten, is so comfortable in school she gets a boyfriend. Justin still has stuffed animals which he may be too old for. This book will touch your heart and along with your funny bone.
It's the beginning of the school year and justin case is not feeling so well about it. He's not getting what he wants, pretty much, at all. Read this book and go through twists and turns until justin can satisfy himself and settle in...
It is funny to read that someone could be so worry about going to school. Oh, this reminds me of the book "Alvin Ho: Allergic to Girls School and Other Scary Things". But Alvin Ho is funnier. I would recommend reading Alvin Ho over this.
Justin Case is a boy that always worries. He worries about third grade, slobber, and the boiler in the 'way-back' of the basement, and that's only a few of his worries! All of Justin's worries makes for a funny read!
I read this one when i was in fifth grade. It is a good book for ages 10-12. It is funny, interesting, and good for kids. I recommend it!
I really did not love this book but I recommend to people who worry a lot and get first day jitters or just third graders and fourth graders.

Justin Case is a boy who has a lot of troubles, just like a normal person, except the fact that he takes them way more seriously. He's nervous around girls, school, and probably everything.
