There's nowhere to hide on the world's first moon base. After all, it's only the size of a soccer field. So when Nina Stack, the commander of Moon Base Alpha, mysteriously vanishes, the Moonies are at a total loss.
Though he may be just twelve years old, Dashiell Gibson is the best detective they've got. But this confusing mystery pushes him to his limits. Especially since he has his own huge secret to protect. With the fate of the entire human race hanging in the balance, will Dash be able to solve the mystery of the missing Moonie?
Book Reviews (13)
This book is about a kid named Dash. He is 12 years of age and is in the year 2040. He also is on the moon, living in a place called Moon base alpha. I think this book is interesting because he has to go find Nina, the moon base commander in order to solve the case. There are bullies, however that are following him during this case. Beyond this point contains spoilers. The most funniest part was when he smashed one of the bully's head in the Space Toilet. It was really funny. Also, towards the middle of the book they find out what he was doing - collecting moon rocks. This is against the law. And by the end, Nina is in the lava tube. They recover Nina and bring her back to the base. Then, the bullies' family gets ComLink taken away, thus meaning they loose their TV, texting and calls. Forever. You should really read this book because it can teach things too.
I liked it because I love space and I am a Sagittarius born DEC/18/1999 and am proud to say that I am related to Neil Armstrong!
