The first book in the #1 bestselling phenomenon sends readers around the world on the hunt for the 39 Clues!

Minutes before she died Grace Cahill changed her will, leaving her decendants an impossible decision: "You have a choice - one million dollars or a clue."

Grace is the last matriarch of the Cahills, the world's most powerful family. Everyone from Napoleon to Houdini is related to the Cahills, yet the source of the family power is lost. 39 Clues hidden around the world will reveal the family's secret, but no one has been able to assemble them. Now the clues race is on, and young Amy and Dan must decide what's important: hunting clues or uncovering what REALLY happened to their parents.

A good cool mystery book and the rest of the series is good too . Also i like mystery books like this one. I recommend this book.

it was vary good . I really liked it , and I think you should reed it . it was really good . ! !

I do remeber reading this book about 2-3 years ago. The only reason I stopped reading it though is because the series is to long and got boring overtime cause it seemed to be receptive. Meaning I would only rate this 3 stars

I honestly think this is a great series, I've read one or two of the books, and the way they branch off into different series and different authors is awesome.

Long and hard to read but very interesting

This is one of my favorite books. I joined battle of the books in 4th grade at my school and this is why I know about this book.

This is an amazing book. One reason why I like mystery books are because of the plot twists and the sudden shocks at the end of the book. This book is just an example of the characteristics all mystery books should have. I especially enjoy these books because each book is written by a different author. This adds different stories and ideas to the book instead of it just being about one thing only. It also adds the author's style of writing to the book.

It's a really cool book...

I got this book for Christmas, after my brother read and really liked it. I love how each book is written by a different author, and can't wait to read the second one.

I like solving a mystery when I read. It keeps me interested.
