Rebel (Reboot)

Rebel (Reboot)

I’ve been waiting for this book for months! The previous one is Reboot, and it’s my strongly recommend book. The story starts when Wren and Callum arrives the reboot stronghold and wanted a new life, but then heard that reboots fight and kill people to gain more helpers. Wren is leaning to the fighting side while Callum decided not to fight. The relationship between them might break at any time. I think this book tells more about the dirty human souls, stepping others to get on the pyramid. 0000 almost killed 9999 to show the others that he hold absolute power, making others fear and respect him fakery. I’m glad that Wren and Callum soon found out that this is different than their wish, and lead reboots to the bright future they deserve.

Earthfall (The Earthfall Trilogy)

Earthfall (The Earthfall Trilogy)

By Mark Walden

The book, Earth fall: Retribution, is scientific fiction book that contains interesting content and dramatic scenes. The story is about how the human will face the alien invasions. The main character Sam join the resistance, their team are assigned to go to Tokyo and disable their Voidborn technology. I think the main character in the story is very heroic person, because he risk his life trying to save his teammate from the emphesize the bravery of the protagonist. I would definitely recommend this book because it uses a lot of imagery which helps me understand the story and it gives a image of what is happening to the content. While reading this book, I would want to be part of the story and join the excitement. Alien invading the earth, and I also wants to see how the aliens looks like in the story and their strength to do things.

Handbook for Dragon Slayers

Handbook for Dragon Slayers

By Merrie Haskell

Princess Tilda never knew one day she would be on a horse chasing and slaying dragons. She always thought she would be doing her penmanship while sitting in her office or hobbling around on her crutch with her crippled foot, living a simple yet boring life. Instead, she was captured by her evil cousin, but then thankfully rescued by her loyal friend Parz. Then off Tilda went, along with Parz and her faithful assistant to slay dragons. Little did Tilda know that dragon slaying was not easy, and many unexpected wonders would pop out at her during her travels. Tilda learns that life has more exciting things if you go out and look for them. This book is not something I would read again. Some parts of it were boring and long, and I do not prefer reading books about Medival times. I recommend it for people who enjoy reading books about knights and dragons. I would give this book 2-3 stars.

Threatened

Threatened

By Eliot Schrefer

Amazing book! Very emotional, and very heart-breaking, but very heart-warming. I loved Mango's character. She was so protective when (spoiler alert!) the National Geographic photographer came. I was so sad when Luc saw the leopard the last time. Anyway, here is the summary. Luc's mother died of a disease, and his father left and never came back. He starting living with Monsieur Tatagani, who was cruel to all the boys living with him. When a rich-looking man comes to the place Luc works at, Luc tries to rob him. Instead of turning him into the police, the professor offers him a job. Luc accepts it, and they set off into the jungle, looking for chimpanzees. Prof claims that Nat Geo. will come later on in the study. They see two groups of chimpanzees- one group consists of an extremely young female named Mango, an old one named Beggar, and a relatively young chimp named Drummer. The other group is a strong, big pack. Luc becomes very close with Mango, which angers Drummer. Drummer attacks Luc many times, but eventually they become close. Something terrible happens to Prof, and Luc is on his own. Drummer and Mango eventually get accepted into the bigger pack. Luc makes his own house, and realizes that he does have a family. WARNING: BE PREPARED TO CRY AND BE EXTREMELY TERRIFIED FOR THE INCREDIBLY SWEET CHARACTERS. Amazing book. Definitely better then Endangered, which is saying a lot.
