The Last Kids on Earth and the Cosmic Beyond

The Last Kids on Earth and the Cosmic Beyond

By Max Brallier, Douglas Holgate

I think this was a great book b/c it;s kinda like the first book but there are different monsters and it is snowing. In this book Jack and his friends have good monster friends but they won't help them b/c they say it's to cold out. There's this girl who is part of the bad monster side that attacks Jack and his friends with zombies and Dirk gets bit by a zombie. He slowly turns into a zombie and they have to save him and not let a Ghazt enter from the underworld which would kill everyone on planet earth.

The Last Kids on Earth and the Zombie Parade

The Last Kids on Earth and the Zombie Parade

By Max Brallier

If you like the zombie apocalypse and adventure you should try reading " The Last Kids On Earth " book ,so far Max Brallier the author of this book has released 3 books from the same series which talk about an orphan kid called called Jack Sulliavan that has been "the worlds punching bag " for a while that was lately adopted by unloving family that used him and when the zombie apocalypse happened they left him all alone so he lived in his scummy not real brother tree house trying to survive the zombies and monsters especially the " Blarg " and has seat a goal for him self to save his crush June Delarosa and slowly he finds other kids and he makes friends . This book was very interesting and has attracted readers in all ages that love adventure even Jeff Kinney the author of the best seller book in New York " Diary of the Wimpy Kid " had a positive comment after reading this book . In my opinion this book was the best book I have ever read and believe me I have read a lot of books and if I would rate this book out of a five it would be 5/5 because it was full of adventure and thrills As Jeff Kinney also stated and it is so funny the best part for me is when he slayed the nasty dirty old monster the "Blarg " with his baseball bat that he added a little adjustments to with his friend and also one of the reasons that made me full in love with this book was how it made my imagination work I kept thinking of if I was put in zombie apocalypse and I started drawing my own tree house and defenses .

The Last Kids on Earth

The Last Kids on Earth

By Max Brallier

Wakefield was once an ordinary town-that was before the monster apocalypse took place. 42 days ago, the town was hit by waves of zombies, Dozers, Windged Wretches and a lot more monsters. 13-year old Jack Sullivan has been living in his tree-house ever since that day, when his foster family took off without him(he doesn't miss them). He is actually having fun in his tree house-he has armed it with catapults and moats, and has video games and supplies of Oreos and Mountain Dew from nearby abandoned stores. He gets to fight monsters and take action-filled photos just like he always wanted. The only thing is that he wishes he knew where his best friend Quint is, and he wants to rescue his crush June (wherever she is), and not that she knows he exists. One day he uses his Walkie, and finds Quint! Quint has been staked out at his own house, and has been busy with science experiments and preparing Big Mama(a super-awesome advanced car), for fighting monsters. Eventually Jack and Quint find an old bully Dirk, and the three team up. But Jack is dedicated to finding June and rescuing the damsel in distress. All the while he has to avoid Blarg, an interestingly smart monster who has it out for Jack. Will he succeed and survive in this new world? The story is told in a mixture of text and black-and-white comic book illustrations that is easy to read and follow along. I really liked the science involved in some of their adventures, like when Quint outfits Big Mama for battle. I recommend this book to elementary and middle school boys. I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.

5 Worlds Book 1: The Sand Warrior

5 Worlds Book 1: The Sand Warrior

By Mark Siegel, Alexis Siegel

"The five worlds are on the brink of extinction unless five ancient and mysterious beacons are lit." This book must have taken lots of work and creativity to publish! Oona Lee, the clumsiest student at Sand Dancer Accademy, did not know she would have a destiny like this. She did not know that her sister would become an evil Toki trying to stop the beacons from lighting. Especially if your sister was the best sand dancer at the academy. I felt this book a little hard to understand at first, but later I quickly caught onto the plot and idea, and I have to admit, this is a very original story! I rate this 5/5 because of originality and good illustrations. I recommend this book to action and maybe mystery readers.

Caveboy Dave: More Scrawny Than Brawny

Caveboy Dave: More Scrawny Than Brawny

By Aaron Reynolds

When I first saw this book, I thought it was your average, run of the mill, prehistoric fiction book. But when I finished it, I knew that this was a book that I would reread over and over again! In this book, Caveboy Dave, dreams to be a big time engineer. But when he and his friends are thrown into the wild, expected to kill 6 deadly beasts, he is hesitant to go. Will he come back victorious? Or will he suffer dreaded defeat? You'll have to read to find out! I would definitely recommend this book to a friend who loves engineering, or one who just loves a good laugh. This was a book I loved, and I'm sure you'll love it too!
