I read this book and it's a great story about a kid and his family running away from the cops. Then the give in but their father escaped into the woods. I have to admite his father is kid of crazy.

From befriending a stray dog, to almost getting killed by a plane, Ophelia survives all her difficulties but she must make a choice. A choice that might kill the Great Tree and change the fate of the Granters. I would recommend this for ages 10+ This was so cute and the pace was perfect! The characters were so unique and fun. I loved how the author explained things it made everything very interesting. This could still use some improvement but still such a lovely book. Granted reminded me so much of the book Disenchanted and Ms. Hickory! Would definitely recommend this.
