Couldn't have said it better!

This really depresses me - it's so sad that people are protesting about their own complaints, yet there are other global situations that are more worthy of fighting for. But it's not even that! The fact that their own baseball team doesn't have anyone to cheer them on, makes me feel something missing inside. I wish the world was a better place, but to get our planet in better shape, we all have to work together. :(

Since there are 162 games in an MLB season, I don't think this one will make much of an impact. One game only brings in about .6% of their entire profit for the season.

I absolutely agree.. I mean, if they hadn't killed an innocent person in the first place, this whole thing probably wouldn't have happened. There are certainly better ways to handle the situation. Peaceful protests and boycotts are the answer in most situations, not rebellion or riots.

I get that they were protesting what seemed an unreasonable death, but to lose self control and cause even more destruction really didn't help. Perhaps it has brought the people together to restore the city, but there were more peaceful ways to band together and address this this that would make it so it wouldn't have had to be destroyed in the first place.
